We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak periods like NYE, Christmas, summer weekends, and major events (Vivid Sydney, etc.). Popular vessels book out months in advance for these dates. For off-peak weekday charters, 2-4 weeks' notice is usually sufficient. We always recommend getting in touch early to secure the best selection.

Our cancellation terms depend on how far in advance you cancel. Cancellations 60+ days before the charter may be eligible for a deposit refund (less a $500 management fee) if a replacement booking is secured. Cancellations 30-60 days out forfeit the deposit. Within 30 days, all monies paid are non-refundable. Weather cancellations are fully refundable. Full details are on our Booking Terms page.

Many of our vessels allow BYO food and/or drinks, particularly boats accommodating under 50 guests. Some larger vessels and luxury yachts operate with licensed bars and may not permit BYO alcohol. We'll let you know the BYO policy for each vessel when we provide your quote. We also offer a range of catering and bar packages to suit every budget.

Cruises go ahead in light rain - most vessels have covered areas and enclosed cabins. Charters are only cancelled for genuinely unsafe conditions such as dangerous seas or severe storms. The skipper has sole discretion on safety decisions. If your charter is cancelled due to weather, you'll receive a full refund or can reschedule at no additional cost.

Yes, children are welcome on all our charters with appropriate adult supervision. Children's life jackets are available on all vessels. Many of our family-friendly boats include water toys, paddleboards, and swimming platforms that kids love. For family charters, we'll recommend vessels that are particularly well-suited for children.

No experience is needed at all. Every charter includes a fully licensed skipper who handles the boat. All you need to do is step on board and enjoy the experience. The skipper will provide a safety briefing before departure and is there to assist throughout your cruise.

Smart casual is ideal for most charters. We strongly recommend flat, non-marking shoes - high heels are restricted on most vessels as they can damage the deck. Bring a light jacket for evening cruises, sunscreen and a hat for day charters, and swimwear if you plan to swim. We'll include specific dress advice with your booking confirmation.

Departure points vary by location and vessel. In Sydney, we have 21+ wharves including King Street Wharf, Cockle Bay Marina, Rose Bay, Man O War Steps (Opera House), and Darling Harbour. On the Gold Coast, most boats depart from Marine Parade in Southport or Sanctuary Cove. In the Whitsundays, departures are from Airlie Beach or Hamilton Island. We'll confirm your departure point when you book.

Yes, you're welcome to decorate within reason. Balloons, banners, and floral arrangements are all fine. We ask that you avoid glitter, confetti, rice, or anything that could stain or damage the vessel - cleaning fees may apply. Many of our boats can also be pre-decorated by our team as part of a package. Let us know your vision and we'll make it happen.
